“Harry Potter” book series listed at No. 6 on “100 great books for kids” list

According to a new article, Scholastic Parent & Child magazine released a new list of the ‘100 great books for kids‘, which listed Charlotte’s Web earning the top spot.

Meanwhile, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone [which represents the entire book series] by author J.K. Rowling was listed at the No. 6 position falling just behind Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak. The Hunger Games, which is a very popular new series, claimed the No. 33 spot.

Not making the list at all, which will make most Harry Potter fans very happy is the Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer.
