Jessie Cave cast as title role for “Mary Rose” in London theatre
Jessie Cave – the actress who starred as Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter series – will play the title role in J.M. Barrie’s Mary Rose at the DogOrange Theatre at Studio 3, Riverside Studios, from March 28 to April 28.
The play is set in a Sussex manor house where a ghost keeps watch, yearning for the return of her beloved boy. The production will feature original music composed by Maria Haik Escudero and will be performed live.
Jessie performed the role of Thomasina in a West End revival of Arcadia, and she also won an Off-West End stage award for her performance in Lou Ramsden’s Breed.
Jessie also frequently includes a few of her Harry Potter co-stars like Evanna Lynch [Luna Lovegood], Scarlett Byrne [Pansy Parkinson], and Georgina Leonidas [Katie Bell] in her own production videos of PinDippy.
Good luck Jessie.
