Tom Felton confirmed to star in period thriller and drama “Therese Raquin”
It is now confirmed that Tom Felton – who portrayed the role of Draco Malfoy for all eight Harry Potter films – has signed on to play his next role alongside Elizabeth Olsen and Glenn Close in the period thriller and drama Therese Raquin.
Expecting Tom to finally play the role of a “good guy”? Well, this role will be similar nuances to that of Draco, as Tom will be playing the role of a sick and spoiled young man who marries his first cousin, played by Elizabeth Olsen.
Olsen, however, falls in love with another man – her husband’s childhood friend Laurent – and decides to murder Felton’s character, Camille. But Camille isn’t an easy soul to appease, so he haunts the pair until they fall into a tragic end.
The Harry Potter actors are certainly keeping busy since filming the finale ended as Dan Radcliffe’s The Woman in Black is in theaters now, Rupert Grint’s Into the White gets released next month, and Emma Watson’s highly anticipated Perks of Being a Wallflower will be released later this year.
