Emma Watson sends message on her official website regarding “Bling Ring”

Recently, we informed you of the new film, Bling Ring, that Emma Watson has been slated to appear in. Emma Watson posted a personal message on her official website to tell her fans of her plans for this film and studying.

From Emma:

Hey Guys,
I’m just packing to go out to Los Angeles for “Bling Ring”.
I’m taking my 3rd term out of Worcester College to make sure I don’t compromise my studies or my part in the film.
I am so excited to have the opportunity to learn from Sofia and make what I think is a very important film. This is a bit of dream for me really.
So that’s my update!

The Bling Ring was written by Academy Award nominated director Sofia Coppola and is based on a true story. It will also be directed & produced by Coppola. Emma Watson will play the role of a fashion-and-fame-obsessed teen who, along with a group of friends, track celebrities’ whereabouts online and then break into their homes and steal designer clothes and possessions.
