MuggleNet’s journey to the WB Studio Tour
Last Friday, MuggleNet was invited to visit the new Warner Brothers Studio Tour: The Making of Harry Potter in Watford, England.
To begin with, there have been many articles written regarding the expense of this latest Harry Potter related attraction; however, the cost to an individual or even a family is minimal compared to the adventure you’ll experience. If there is ANY way for you and your family or friends to experience this magnificent venture, I would highly recommend it.
The amount of detail in the craftsmanship that was created by the men and women responsible for the Harry Potter films is astonishing. What you see in the films is so minor in comparison to what you will see when you examine each and every prop, creature, costume, and building during this three hour tour.
Joining me on the tour was a long time Harry Potter fan and avid fandom contributor, Josee Leblanc. Each of us have given you, the fans, our own relatively spoiler-free report. Our reports share with you everything we learned from the basics of how to get to the WB Studio Tour, to some of the details you need to see for yourself, and some of the actions that you really should do to enhance your overall experience. For example, make sure you talk to the staff – you may be surprised that some of them have actually appeared in the films as an extra.
Some of the pictures taken during the tour appear in our reports, and some other images can be found on our MuggleNet Facebook page. We hope you enjoy!

A reminder that MuggleNet staff member Kat will also be in London this week to cover the red carpet event and will get the chance to interview many of the cast and crew who will be attending. We previously reported exactly who was confirmed at this time. We look forward to Kat’s report.
