Daniel Radcliffe attends the NFL Draft in New York City
That’s right sports fans! Dan Radcliffe – the actor who portrayed the title role in all of the Harry Potter films – put away his Firebolt and Quidditch uniform to attend the first round of the NFL Draft, which took place Thursday evening at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
Living in New York for the better part of the last two years in order to star on Broadway in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying as well as filming the role of Alan Ginsberg in To Kill Your Darlings, which just recently completed principle photography, Dan has become an avid fan of America’s National Football League, especially the world champion New York Giants.
It also probably comes as no surprise that Dan is an avid Fantasy Football fan. We wonder how he liked the Giants first round draft choice of David Wilson, a running back out of Virginia Tech?
Does it surprise you that Dan attended a completely American sporting event that only the most crazed football fans watch? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
