Dan Radcliffe to star in drama TV show in UK with Jon Hamm
Daniel Radcliffe – known for his title role in the Harry Potter series – recently completed filming the soon-to-be-released film Kill Your Darlings in New York City. Next up for Dan is a role in a four-part drama to be broadcast on the Sky Arts channel in the UK alongside Jon Hamm.
Jon Hamm is well-known for his role as Don Draper in the 60’s advertising show Mad Men, of which Dan is a huge fan. However, on this new drama show, Jon will be portraying one of the medical professionals in his later years as the show follows a group of Russian doctors after World War I. Dan will be playing the role of a younger version of the same character.
Jon Hamm will reportedly narrate the series, which is believed to contain some dark humor and will be seen interacting with Dan in some of the episodes.
What are your thoughts on Dan taking on all of these period pieces such as My Boy Jack, Kill Your Darlings, and The Woman in Black? Is he limiting himself to these types of roles in your opinion? Let us know in the comments below.
