Evanna Lynch to commentate ‘The Leaky Cup Quidditch Tournament’ championship match at LeakyCon
If you are looking for just one more reason for why you should be attending LeakyCon 2012 in Chicago, Illinois from August 9-12, we now have that reason!
Evanna Lynch – the actress who portrayed Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter series – will be commentating the Championship Match of the The Leaky Cup Quidditch Tournament. This is certainly going to be a dream come true for many Potter fans.
If you are not already registered for LeakyCon and do not want to purchase a Full Registration, purchase a Quidditch Pass right here for $40. It will include the cost of a team t-shirt, your own broomstick, a pass to attend all of the Quidditch matches as well as the Esther Earl Rocking Charity Ball on Saturday, August 11. To attend programming, LeakyCon Rock concerts, keynotes, special events, etc. you must purchase a full registration or a day pass.
If you are already signed up for a full Registration or Day Pass to LeakyCon, you can add a Quidditch Pass to your registration for $20 to participate in the tournament as well as receive a t-shirt and your own broom.
If you are a RockStar you can participate in the Quidditch tournament free of charge and do not need to add anything to your registration to play. However, please note in order to be placed on a team and receive your broom and t-shirt you will need to fill out this additional form.
Once you have purchased your Quidditch pass please be sure to fill out this additional information form to help the IQA staff to sort you into teams and so we know your t-shirt size!
Don’t want to play in the tournament but still want to see what it’s all about? If you are a conference attendee with a Full Registration or Day Pass you are welcome to watch the matches and cheer for your favorite teams at no additional charge!
