“Harry Potter” wins MTV Movie Awards for “Best Hero” and “Best Cast”
The cast of Harry Potter – most notably Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, and Tom Felton – have come through with a fantastic victory in the category of Best Cast at the MTV Movie Awards. Emma Watson accepted the award on behalf of the franchise.
Additionally, Harry Potter the character (as portrayed by Daniel Radcliffe in the films) won the title of Best Hero with a significant defeat of Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games. This was purely a fan vote via Twitter for this first time category. So you, the fans, deserve all the credit for this award.
Unfortunately, in the categories of Best Male Performance, Best Female Performance, Best Fight, Best Kiss, and Movie of the Year the Harry Potter franchise did not win the MTV Movie Award.
