JK Rowling to be interviewed for Australian TV Special “Life after Potter”

According to the West Australian, author of the Harry Potter books, J.K. Rowling, will be interviewed by journalist Jennifer Bryne during a primetime special called J.K. Rowling: Life After Potter on September 27, the release date of her new adult novel, The Casual Vacancy.

The interview will discuss her Harry Potter success, as well as The Casual Vacancy and provide an in-depth look at J.K. Rowling’s creative process.

”This is J.K.’s first venture into the world of adult fiction and Jennifer will explore what new challenges she has faced in talking to this new audiences.”

Bryne is the only Australian journalist to be granted an interview with Ms. Rowling in promotion of her upcoming novel. J.K. Rowling: Life After Potter will air on ABC1 at 8 p.m. Australian time on September 27, the same day as The Casual Vacancy hits bookstores in Australia.
