Are there any Alan Rickman fans out there? Yeah, I am sure there are still a few!

We now have the first sighting of legendary actor Alan Rickman – who famously portrayed Professor Severus Snape in the Harry Potter films – as former United States President Ronald Reagan for his upcoming film The Butler.

The Butler will tell the true story of Eugen Allen, a butler at the White House from 1952 to 1986. Allen will be played by Forest Whitaker, while his on-screen wife is being portrayed by Oprah Winfrey, who posted the picture of Rickman on her Twitter page.

Rickman appears in the picture alongside Jane Fonda, who will play Ronald Reagan’s wife Nancy. John Cusack and Robin Williams also star, Cusack playing President Richard Nixon and Williams playing President Dwight Eisenhower, while James Marsden takes on President John F. Kennedy and Liev Schreiber plays President Lyndon Johnson.

Allen, who died in 2010 at age 90, served as a butler to eight American presidents in all and retired in 1986, having not missed a single day’s work.
