‘Harry Potter’ actress Evanna Lynch to speak at Canada’s only all-women University
Brescia University is the only all-women’s University in Canada and is proud to announce that Harry Potter actress Evanna Lynch will be speaking at a special event for International Day of the Girl on October 11.
According to LeakyNews, a representative from Evanna stated, “Evanna is honoured to be speaking at Brescia. She has been inspired by the strong female role models in her life, and is thrilled to be a part of inspiring leadership for social change in the next generation of young women.”
Evanna is best known for her role of Luna Lovegood for the final four Harry Potter films and has used her popularity to help with charitable activities such as the Harry Potter Alliance and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Tickets for the event at Brescia University will be on sale in the foyer of the Mother St. James building on Saturday, September 29 from 1-3 p.m.. Cost of the ticket is $10.00 for students and $15.00 for adults. The event will be held in the Brescia Auditorium, Mother St. James Building on the Brescia University Campus – 1285 Western Road, London, Ontario.
