MuggleNet SnitchCenter update – First LIVE Quidditch match to be televised, Western Cup, QWC update, and more
Muggle Quidditch is continuing to grow at a rapid pace around the world, and MuggleNet SnitchCenter is here to keep you informed.
To start with, a historic event is about to happen in Ohio: The Toledo Firebolts will be playing the Bowling Green State University Quidditch team this Sunday, January 13, and this match will be the FIRST EVER LIVE televised Muggle Quidditch match!
That’s right! BCSN will air this match LIVE, and we encourage all residents of the Ohio area to attend the event and show your support. For all of the information on this match, check out their Facebook event right here.
In other news from the International Quidditch Association (IQA), the Western Cup VI regional tournament will be held on February 16 and 17 in Roseville, California!
The preparations for the Quidditch World Cup on April 13-14 are going strong. Make your plans now to attend this premiere event in Kissimmee, Florida, as the world’s best Muggle Quidditch teams do battle. We will be making a few more important news posts relating to the QWC in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
