“The Bling Ring”, starring Emma Watson, to release this June

Get ready to see Emma Watson on the big screen again this summer in her project The Bling Ring, which has now been confirmed for a June premiere according to MTV. The film, based on a true story, features Emma as an entirely different character than what she is used to.

She says about her character, “This is how much I hate myself in the movie: I don’t think I’m going to be able to watch it. I hate myself.” She goes on to describe the role as educational yet “weird,” which seems fitting considering she plays a teenage girl attempting to be like Hollywood celebrities Lindsey Lohan and Paris Hilton.

Directed by Sofia Coppola, the film does not yet have an exact release date, but we’ll be sure to keep our eyes out.
