“The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman”, Starring Rupert Grint, to Compete at Berlin Film Festival
The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman, starring Potter actor Rupert Grint, is in competition for the Golden Bear at the 63rd Berlin International Film Festival this February.
The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman follows the life of the Countryman, an ordinary man who falls in love with the girlfriend of a violent crime boss. The all-star cast featuring alongside Rupert, in this debut feature by Fredrik Bond, includes Shia LaBeouf, Melissa Leo, and Mads Mikkelsen.
Running February 7-17, the Berlin International Film Festival screens a range of films, but only nine are included in competition. The screening of The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman will be the film’s international premiere.
