Rupert Grint Attends International Premiere for “The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman”
As previously reported, The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman held its international premiere at this year’s Berlin International Film Festival, currently running till Sunday 17 February. Last night the stars of the film, which included Potter star Rupert Grint alongside Shia LaBeouf and Evan Rachel Wood, were out in force to support and promote the movie.
Rupert was also present at the press conference held earlier in the day and streamed live for fans worldwide. When asked about Potter, Grint commented that it was ‘refreshing to be on a new set’ and that ‘the film and role ticked every box for [him]. It [was] completely the opposite of Ron.’ He also talked of his time spent filming in Romania.
“I loved Romania, though I didn’t know what to expect at first. It didn’t take me long to fall in love with the country but it did take a while to settle in. Shortly after I got there I was chased by wild dogs!”
The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman previously premiered at the Sundance Festival in January and is now currently being offered to buyers.
What do you think of Rupert’s post-Potter film choices? What would you like to see him do next?
