Emma Watson in final talks to star in Sir Kenneth Branagh’s directed version of “Cinderella”
The stars of Harry Potter have been busy recently. Earlier, we reported that Daniel Radcliffe was in final talks to be cast in a remake of Frankenstein. Now, we can report that Emma Watson looks to be in final talks to portray Cinderella.
As reported in an article on Variety, Emma Watson – the actress who portrayed Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series – could be a real-life Disney princess. She will be playing Belle in an upcoming remake of Beauty and the Beast, and now a chance to play Cinderella, which also just happens to be directed by Sir Kenneth Branagh (Gilderoy Lockhart).
This version of Cinderella is slated to be filmed sometime this Fall and released in 2014. We will update you as we know more regarding Emma.
