MuggleNet challenges Quidditch World Cup qualified teams with a fund raising challenge

MuggleNet has been a strong supporter of the International Quidditch Association (IQA) and Muggle Quidditch around the world for a long time now. We are all looking forward to the fantastic matches between the best teams in the world in just a few weeks as they take place in Kissimmee, Florida at Quidditch World Cup VI. But will all of the teams be able to attend? Times are tough economically, and when you are on a limited budget with little or no school support, it’s important to reach out to the community for their generosity and assistance.

Here at MuggleNet, we want to do everything we can to ensure the teams that qualified for the QWC will get to go. So we are placing a challenge together for all of those teams who are still needing to raise the necessary funds for travel to Florida:

  • Send us an email to events@staff.mugglenet.com by Wednesday, March 20 at 8:00 p.m. EST explaining why MuggleNet should highlight your Quidditch team as a team in need of fan base support.
  • MuggleNet and IQA officials will review the entries received
  • Winning entries will be highlighted on the MuggleNet site with the teams links for fans to donate to help raise the necessary traveling funds to get the team to the Quidditch World Cup.
