“Harry Potter: The Exhibition” Coming Soon to Tokyo
In just two days, Harry Potter: The Exhibition will open, for the first time, in Tokyo at the Mori Arts Center Gallery.
Having recently enjoyed an encore presentation in New York, the exhibition has made its trans-Pacific journey and set up shop in a 1,400-square-meter exhibition space in Roppongi Hills. Including many of the sets and props featured at the exhibition that has already toured Australia, Singapore, and the United States, the experience will offer fans the chance to see the world of the Harry Potter films. Guests will be able to toss a Quaffle with friends, pull out their own mandrakes in Herbology, and take a seat in Hagrid’s giant armchair in a re-creation of Hagrid’s hut.
On Wednesday evening, the exhibition hosted a preview for invited guests and MuggleNet guest reporter Jay Mohri was there to give us a first-hand experience. You can read the report in either English or Japanese!
Harry Potter: The Exhibition opens on June 22. You can book tickets in advance either by calling the Lawson Ticket office at 0570-000-777 or via the website.
