Attention all Hogwarts students: O.W.L.s will return to MuggleNet this July
O.W.L.s are examinations given by the Ministry of Magic to test your knowledge and understanding of the magical world in each of the subjects taken at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The standardized exams are administered by the Wizarding Examinations Authority (MuggleNet) and results of each exam will be sent by e-owl directly to you upon completion of each exam.
The subjects for your O.W.Ls will be in the following subjects: Transfiguration, Charms, Herbology, Divination, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Care of Magical Creatures, History of Magic, Potions, Astronomy, Muggle Studies, Ancient Runes, and Arithmancy.
Each of the exams will be timed and any answers not completed before time stops will be marked as wrong. There have been a few easier questions added to this year’s test bank, but you will still need to study.
In order to pass the exam, you will need to take the time and study appropriately. For anyone worried about getting those top marks, you’ll have at least one exceptional way to help prepare for the exams: MuggleNet Interactive will display last year’s tutoring sessions that were led by the professors of the MNI interactive classes.
Additionally, we encourage you to practice speed and accuracy of knowledge of the magical world by playing the games we have established in our MuggleNet Trivia Challenge Section. Special thanks to Sporcle for allowing us to share their games on the MuggleNet website.
Lastly, be sure to play MuggleNet’s daily trivia challenge on the right hand side of the home page to help gain extensive knowledge and practice into the magical world of Harry Potter.
All exams will be open to the public beginning on Monday, July 7!
