MuggleNet Interactive Celebrates Its Tenth Anniversary
I first registered in 2004, for no other reason than to take the sorting test. Yet after talking to my housemates (Ravenclaw Pride!), jumping into discussions and classes, and discovering a little thing called Roleplaying, I was hooked. I made some of the most amazing friends, eventually applied for staff, and now, nine years later, I think about what a wonderful journey it’s been.
From the start, MNI was meant to be a virtual Wizarding World and, like Hogwarts, so many people have found a home there during the last ten years. As always, the Potter fandom is filled with wonderful, brilliant, passionate people drawn together by their shared love of the series, but whose bond goes far beyond that. The site has gone through multiple incarnations but has remained an amazing community for tens of thousands of Potterheads from around the world.
And, with MuggleNet O.W.L.s just around the corner (only one week left!), now might be a good time to pop over to MNI classes for O.W.L. revision. We’ll be posting review guides and hints to help everyone do their absolute best on their exams.
Starting this July and continuing throughout the coming year, MNI will be celebrating ten years of magic and memories by bringing back some of the most popular features, games, and events, as well as launching new projects to take us into the next ten years.
We’re extremely excited about what’s to come and we hope everyone will join us in making the next ten years as brilliant as the last. After all, MNI would never have made it this far without all of our users.
