“Potter” films rank on Gary Oldman’s top six performances

Us Potter fans know Gary Oldman best as marauder Sirius Black. If you asked any number of other people what they know him from, you’ll get countless different answers. He is definitely an actor who has contributed to Hollywood and entertainment in many ways. Hey U Guys have come up with a list of Gary Oldman’s top six performances in film.

Ranking at number five on the list is his performance as Sirius in the Harry Potter franchise. Here’s why they think he worked the Potter movies so well:

Sirius is one of the more interesting characters in the Potterverse, and so it only makes sense to hire an actor just as complex. Oldman employed his trademark intensity to the character, and it worked marvelously. He becomes a rather endearing character and a very central figure in the story of the famous boy wizard.
