Confused Muggleborn

Dear Hermione Granger,

Hello! I’m a muggle born, and I just recently got my letter to go to Hogwarts! I’m so excited! Anyway, my mum is really nervous about how we are going to get the supplies I need. Nobody knows where it is, except for witches and wizards, and I don’t know any yet! I thought you would be the best one to tell me where the Leaky Cauldron is in London, and how to get there in a non-magical way, since you are a muggle born too. How did you find out where it is?

Dear Confused Muggleborn,

Congratulations on your Hogwarts acceptance! You have a wonderful school career ahead of you. Don’t worry about getting to Diagon Alley; as the time for school approaches, the school will usually send a friendly member of the staff to assist Muggleborns. You will be able to see the entrance, the Leaky Cauldron, but your parents will not be able to, so you will have to help them get in. Once there, Hannah, the owner, is always glad to help new witches and wizards learn how to tap the bricks to enter the market. Again, congratulations, and welcome to the wizarding world!
