Congratulations to MuggleNet’s founder/CEO Emerson Spartz – named in “Top 30 Startups to Watch”
Congratulations are in order for the founder and CEO of MuggleNet – our own Emerson Spartz has been named in Entrepreneur’s Magazine list of Top 30 Startups to Watch at No. 22.
Emerson’s journey has certainly been a long one but also quite a successful one. At the tender age of twelve, he informed his parents that he was dropping out of school in favor of being homeschooled. Then in October of 1999, Emerson launched his first website called “The Best Harry Potter Links,” which was dedicated to the fans of Harry Potter. This website had a name change to “Potterites United” before being later renamed to “MuggleNet.”
After graduating from Notre Dame University, Emerson and his then girlfriend and now wife, Gaby, started up Spartz, a viral website company whose goal was to reach millions of people with positive, inspirational, and motivational messages that fans would be able to contribute to for content. The company has created Gives Me Hope and OMG Facts and is quickly on its way to greatness!
Currently, Spartz launches a new website every six weeks, recieves over 160 million page views per month, and has created a media empire in just a few short years.
Check out the Spartz website and its fantastic network of sites today. The next website he launches may be one of your favorites (after MuggleNet of course)!
