More “Potter” stars react to “Fantastic Beasts” news
The stars of Potter continue to react to the exciting news that J.K. Rowling will be writing a film based on Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Several have even expressed interest in returning to the wizarding world in some aspect.
Evanna Lynch took to Twitter the day the news was announced in what she called “a bit of a freak out.” Though she doubts Luna will appear in the new film, Evanna says she would be up to appearing as Luna telling Newt’s story to her children or as some kind of magical creature, to which Warner Brothers replied via Twitter that she would “make one delightful Crumple-Horned Snorkack.”
Alan Rickman also commented on the news, not being able to imagine how Snape would be in the film, saying, “I’m dead so I don’t know where I’m going to be scrapped back from.”
Daniel Radcliffe responded to the news after hearing it from a reporter while promoting Kill Your Darlings. Dan said that he was not expecting to be in the film at all unless “time travel rears its head again,” but he is not against the idea. He, like the entire Potter fandom and stars, is simply waiting to see what J.K. Rowling will write.
