York University set to host second annual Yule Ball!
We have chosen a champion from three universities in Toronto: York University (both Keele and Glendon campuses), University of Toronto (both Scarborough and St. George campuses), and Ryerson University. We just completed our first task, which was a difficult obstacle course full of magical creatures in a corn maze at night. Now, we are hosting our second annual Yule Ball to commemorate the champions and wish them luck on their second and third tasks. The event will be a formal dinner/dance, there will be lots of raffle prizes, live music, [and] a dueling/choreographed skit, as well as some ballroom dancing. One dollar of every ticket sold will be donated to the Harry Potter Alliance charity organization.
The club first held the tournament last year and sold nearly 300 tickets to the event. This year they are expecting an even bigger turnout, and tickets are already selling quickly! If you want to attend the event, be sure to get your tickets as soon as possible before you miss out!
