Daniel Radcliffe set to star in new film, “Brooklyn Bridge”
After the global phenomenon of the Harry Potter series, Daniel Radcliffe has recently starred in a few considerably smaller, though no less exciting, features. Moviefone reports that his next role will be of a similar size; he is set to star in the biopic Brooklyn Bridge.
Written and directed by Douglas McGrath (best known for his adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma), the film is set to revolve around Washington Roebling, the engineer of the world famous landmark, who took over said job after his father died. During the bridge’s construction, Roebling became ill, and his wife became a key figure of the process and his life.
Shooting is scheduled to start this summer.
