“Gravity” and “Doctor Who” nominated for Ray Bradbury Award
The 2013 Nebula nominees have been announced by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America.
Of note for Potter fans, is the Ray Bradbury Award for Outstanding Dramatic Presentation. The nominees include Doctor Who: “The Day of the Doctor,” which stars David Tennant (Barty Crouch, Jr.) as the Tenth Doctor and John Hurt (Mr. Ollivander) as the War Doctor.
The popular BBC show is up against award winning movie Gravity, which is directed and produced by Potter team Alfonso Cuarón and David Heyman.
Doctor Who and Gravity are up against four other nominees, including The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Her.
The Nebula Awards are “voted on, and presented by, active members of SFWA.”
