Gravity scoops up six awards at last night’s BAFTAs!
Alfonso Cuarón, who directed the third Harry Potter film, was also awarded Best Director. Afterward Alfonso said that he was “very happy for the crew” involved with the film. Watch a video of Alfonso discuss whether he would like to go to space himself one day, here.
Unfortunately, both Emma Thompson (Saving Mr. Banks) and Sandra Bullock (Gravity) missed out on Best Leading Actress, which Cate Blanchett scooped up. Dane Dehaan, Daniel Radcliffe’s co-star in Kill Your Darlings, also missed out the Rising Star award.
The full list of winners is available here.
Congratulations to Gravity and everyone involved!
