Rupert Grint animated movie, “Foosball”, given UK release date

We previously posted that Rupert Grint was due to voice Amadeo in an English language version of Foosball. The animated movie was released last year in Argentina, where it was Argentina’s highest grossing film of 2013. The movie, which is now called The Unbeatables, has been given a UK release date of August 8, 2014.

In the movie, Rupert voices the main character, Amadeo, whose table football team magically comes to life. The director, Juan Jose Campanella, said that

 

“The casting of Rupert and Rob was inspired and was my perfect cast. I loved Rupert’s work in Harry Potter, and I knew he would bring an honesty and intelligence to the part of Amadeo.”

The English version of the movie will also feature the voices of Anthony Head, Ralf Little, Rob Brydon, and Alistair McGowan.
