How did you become a Harry Potter fan?
For years people told me that I had to read this series; that reading it would make my life complete. The problem was, none of our local libraries carried any copies (I lived in a very religious area that had deemed the books satanic. Crazy, right?). Eventually, when I was visiting my cousin I found the series at the local library there. So naturally, I did not come home for the majority of the summer, choosing to stay in my cousin’s attic so I might read the books. I now own my own copies.
What Potter fandom memory would you keep in your Pensieve?
When my younger sister turned 11, I wrote her a Hogwarts letter, on official Harry Potter stationery of course, and left it in our fireplace for her to find. The look of delight on her face was priceless. Here’s to continuing the Potter fandom!
Describe what being part of the Harry Potter fandom has meant to you in seven words or less.
True magic is inside each of us.
What do you think you might see if given the chance to look into the Mirror of Erised?
Other than myself at Hogwarts? Well I guess I would see myself doing what I love the most- studying Latin and Ancient Greek. My biggest dream is to become an archaeologist and unlock the code to one of the many untranslatable languages from that time period.
