First look at TV show “Believe” – directed by Alfonso Cuarón
With the results of the recent Oscar Awards, there’s no doubt that Prisoner of Azkaban director Alfonso Cuarón is capable of creating something amazing. A sneak peak of his upcoming television drama Believe has been released and can be viewed here. The NBC show, directed by Cuarón and produced by J.J. Abrams, follows a young girl with powers who needs protecting and a man previously on death row who is there to do the protecting.
Abrams revealed how he felt about working with Cuarón, saying, “The thing that got me the most excited about Believe is that Alfonso Cuarón created it and directed the show.” One of the stars of the show, Jake McLaughlin, follows up with “Nobody does it like Alfonso does it!”
Believe is one of the most highly-anticipated shows of 2014. It premieres Monday, March 10 at 10 p.m. Following the first episode, the show will play on Sundays at 9 p.m.
