Avada KedavRock! 2014 wizard rock show returning to NYC

Wizard rock is rock music that evolved starting in 2002 and is known for performing humorous songs about the mega famous Harry Potter movie series.

Avada KedavRock! 2014 is a wizard rock concert taking place in New York City on Sunday, May 4. It will showcase the talent of many local wizard rockers (and even a few from out of town), while also serving as a reunion for the wrock community that does not convene nearly often enough. The truth is that there aren’t nearly enough wizard rock concerts happening nowadays, so we will fix that! The concert is being hosted by the Dancing Death Eaters, who have some new dance numbers they will showcase at the event.

This is a followup to Avada KedavRock! 2012, which was a big success a year and a half ago.

  • When: Sunday, May 4, 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Where: Ripley Grier 939 – 8th Avenue between 55th and 56th Streets – in Manhattan, NY. Studio 2B, on the second floor. Ring “307” to be let in.
  • Cost: $10 entry fee – in exchange, water and soda will be provided.
  • Performers: Dancing Death Eaters, Madam Pince and the Librarians, Gringotts Girls, Brian Malfoy, Celestial Warmbottom, Forgotten Houses, Jared TWG, Sunny Williams, Band in a Horcrux
