“Harry Potter” characters visit North Tyneside
Young Harry Potter fans were left spellbound last week when characters from the much-loved books paid a visit to North Tyneside! Harry, Hagrid, and Professor McGonagall were the characters who greeted fans at libraries and council centers across North Tyneside.
Harry presented magical shows for the youngsters to show off what he had learned at Hogwarts, while Professor McGonagall performed broomstick flying sessions at intervals to show the budding wizards how it is done. Dozens of young fans made the trip to North Tyneside for the special event, which took place at North Shields Customer First Centre on Thursday, Wallsend Customer First Centre on Friday, and Whitley Bay Customer First Centre on Saturday.
The events form part of a program of town center events organized by North Tyneside Council as part of its ongoing commitment to support businesses. Previous events include a pop-up retro video game lounge, circus workshops, and a pinball competition.
