“Horns”, starring Daniel Radcliffe, gets UK release date
Some good news for UK fans of Daniel Radcliffe! Horns, directed by Alexandre Aja, is set to be released in the UK on October 31.
The Halloween release date seems perfectly apt considering that Horns is billed as a “supernatural thriller.”
The film, which also stars Juno Temple, follows the character of Ig Perrish (Radcliffe), who is the central suspect of the violent rape and murder of his girlfriend Merrin (Temple). Ig wakes one morning to discover horns growing from his head, and he soon realizes that their power drives people to confess their sins and give in to their most undesirable impulses – an effective tool in his search to find out the true circumstance of his girlfriend’s death and for exacting revenge on her killer.
It is based on the critically acclaimed novel by Joe Hill, which was featured on the New York Times Bestseller List for six weeks and has since become an international bestseller. You can check out a video of a set visit with Radcliffe:
As we previously posted, Horns has been acquired by US distributors Dimension and RADiUS-TWC, who are hoping to release it in the US later in the year.
