Daniel Radcliffe appearance on “Charlie Rose”
Yesterday, the one and only Daniel Radcliffe made another television appearance to promote his play The Cripple of Inishmaan, which is still running on Broadway – this time it was on the talk show Charlie Rose. During the interview Radcliffe talked in great detail about the play, describing his character Billy as an orphan who “grows up with a sense [that] maybe he was never wanted.”
While clips of the play were shown during the interview, Dan expresses how he thinks filming theater is “unnatural,” wanting nothing more than to put it “into a roomy 101-styled time capsule and ensure it just vanishes from existence.”
He also speaks briefly about his role in Kill Your Darlings and his upcoming film What If, which he defines as a “really smart, sweet romantic comedy.”
