How did you become a Harry Potter fan?
Originally, I wasn’t. I started reading them (yes by myself) when I was 8—in 2000. It was after a spelling test, and I had finished really quickly, so my teacher had me pick a book off the shelf. A few of my classmates’ parents had been reading the books to them, and they said they were good, so I figured I’d give it a chance- I had previously skimmed the first few pages and found I wasn’t interested. That time, I really sat down and got into it, and the rest is history.
What would your patronus be and why?
A horse! Or a Unicorn- that would be pretty amazing! Honestly, I have a similar diet? Lots of oats and vegetables! I’ve also loved horses since I was little, I was so upset when Voldemort killed the unicorn in The Philosopher’s Stone.
What was your reaction to the news about Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them?
I cried. A lot. Haha I still cry every time I see photos of the Diagon Alley expansion—my family got a once in a lifetime chance to go- the summer before the expansion opens!
If you could have one prop from the set of the films, which would it be?
Oh goodness- only one? Probably a Hogwarts trunk or Dumbledore’s owl stand! (fun fact—the sweater I’m wearing in that picture? Has a huge ‘H’ on it!)
