Jessie Cave talks friendship, Edinburgh Festival Fringe
Actress Jessie Cave (Lavender Brown) was recently interviewed by the List ahead of her comedy routine, Grawlix, debuting at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe. In the interview, Jessie – along with friend Emer Kelly, who was previously scheduled to perform alongside her – discusses her views on friendship and the challenges that come with it in today’s technology-influenced world.
On which famous person she would most like to befriend, she said,
I would like to be friends with Roseanne Barr. I am in awe of her and grew up watching Roseanne with my mum.
The description for the show:
Grawlix: A spiral-shaped graphic used to indicate swearing in comic strips. A string of typographical symbols, especially ‘@#$%&!’.
Grawlix will be performed daily at 12 p.m. (noon) from July 31 through August 25 at Laughing Horse @ Espionage in Edinburgh. Minors cannot attend due to licensing restrictions at the venue. Tickets for the show are free of charge and can be ordered here.
