New “Fountain of Fair Fortune” show premieres at Universal Orlando!
Only this week, we posted an interview with designer Michael Curry where a brand new Tales of Beedle the Bard show was hinted at. “The Tale of the Three Brothers”, one of the Bard’s stories, is already performed every day in Diagon Alley. Now, Attractions Magazine has revealed that a brand new show is now being performed at the park!
The second Beedle the Bard tale to be brought to life is “The Fountain of Fair Fortune.”
Here’s some more about the show:
The Tales of Beedle the Bard features a troupe of four from the Wizarding Academy of Dramatic Arts who have set up to perform a trunk show using stylized scenic pieces, props and puppetry fabricated by Emmy-award-winning designer Michael Curry.
The performers retell two of the famed tales of Beedle the Bard, a 15th-century author of wizarding fairytales. The newest show is ‘The Fountain of Fair Fortune,’ in which three witches and a knight meet in their attempt to reach a fountain in an enchanted garden.
A video of the full performance of “The Fountain of Fair Fortune” has also been posted, which you can see below, although, of course, if you want to keep the performance a surprise for your visit, then it would be wise not to watch!
Attractions Magazine has also posted a video of the full performance of “The Tale of the Three Brothers”:
