Quidditch Northeast Regional Championship to be held in Rochester, New York
This weekend, the top northeastern Quidditch teams will compete in their regional championship in Rochester, New York. Among them are 25 teams and 500 players from Connecticut, Main, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont. The top 12 finishers will move on to the US Quidditch World Cup VIII, which will be held this spring in Rock Hill, South Carolina. One of the competing teams is Boston University Quidditch, who is seeking to earn their third regional championship win.
The event will be held at Total Sports Experience in Rochester, New York, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 15 and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 16. On Saturday there will be youth Quidditch games for young players to compete in. Admission and parking are free, and anyone is welcome to attend! Learn more about the event and competing teams here!
