Video: Domhnall Gleeson talks special effects on “Ex Machina”
Last month we brought to you a new clip and featurette from Domhnall Gleeson’s (Bill Weasley) new film, Ex Machina, which tells the story of a young man who finds himself picked to participate in an experiment based around artificial intelligence. The film has now hit theaters throughout the UK, and RTÉ Ten has just released an interview with Domhnall himself, who talks in detail about working on said film.
During the interview, Gleeson describes how important the special effects are in the movie, explaining that even before it was finished being put together, it was still “incredible… really amazing.” He goes on to say,
I think when you watch… it’s such a beautifully shot, involving film, that the visuals are so important to it actually, that I can’t think of anything that’s more filmic.
He also speaks about filming in Norway, working with fellow cast members, and director Alex Garland. Watch the interview now below!
Although it came out in the UK on January 21, Ex Machina doesn’t hit US theaters until April 10.
