Jason Isaacs’s “Dig” inspires live mystery game
As you may know, Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy) is about to star in the upcoming USA Network series, Dig. The series, which starts in March, sees Jason as an
FBI agent stationed in Israel who becomes enmeshed in an ancient, international mystery in the course of investigating the murder of an American.
In order to celebrate the start of the series, it has been announced that USA Network has teamed up with gaming company Escape the Room to bring a live-action game inspired by the series to you. The game is officially called Dig: Escape the Room and
is for people who like solving code-cracking, riddles and artifacts, all under a deadline.
But it’s not for the claustrophobic.
Participants are locked in a room while they work together in small groups to solve a mystery.
The game will take place at a number of locations across the US, launching in New York on February 26 and running until March 8. The game will also be taking place in Boston (February 28-March 5), Philadelphia (February 28-March 5), Universal Studio Hollywood (February 28-March 5), and Universal Orlando Resort (March 3-8). Registration begins on Feburary 19 for all locations. The game master, Victor Blake, said,
The themes of Dig provided a rich foundation to build a multi-layered game with hidden twists and unexpected turns. With every clue you solve and every secret you reveal, you peel back another layer of the story.
Plus, a brand new music video has been released, featuring clips from the series. Check it out below:
