How did you become a Harry Potter fan?
Well, this one summer when I was 9, I was spending days in this library as both my parents [were working]. I was the only child, reading one Enid Blyton book[…] after the other. It was the librarian, this really sweet [man], who gave me the first Harry Potter book and asked me to read it. [I] still remember what he said[:] ‘You’ll really like this; you should read it.” And that’s that. People get their Hogwarts letter when they’re 11; I got mine when I was 9.
What is one theory you had about the books before they finished that you wish had come true?
After the sixth book, I honestly thought that Draco would have a huge part to play in the search for [H]orcruxes. I believed/theorised that Draco had come to the conclusion that he wasn’t a good person as such, but he just wanted to see Voldemort fall. But in the process of helping Harry destroy the [H]orcruxes he found that he had good in him and wanted that to be a part of his personality. And the threesome would eventually become a foursome over a period of few years.
What Potter fandom memory would you keep in your Pensieve?
Dumbledore telling Harry in front of the Mirror of Erised that it does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live.
