How did you become a Harry Potter fan?

My family was watching […] Deathly Hallows [-] Part 2 in a theatre a few years ago with a group of rude teens, who were ruining the movie. My mom and another mom kept asking them to stop. After the movie, my mom and the other mom found the teens[‘] parents and confronted them about the conflict. After getting them grounded, the other mom turned to me and asked[,] “Have you read the Harry Potter series? If not, do.” I took her advice and read the first book. From then on, I was completely hooked.

What would your Patronus be and why?

I think my [P]atronus would be a wolf or a dog. I am fiercely loyal and protective of those I care for. I will stand up for them and for myself, even in times of great fear and danger. I also like to think of myself as brave and selfless, like the wolf. I pride myself in my ability to put others first, myself second. I would do almost anything to protect my friends and would never intend to hurt them. I think daringness is one of my most noticeable traits.

If you could have one prop from the set of the films, which would it be?

I have a book called The Creature Vault that talks about the different film props in the films, and in it they talked about how the Hungarian Horntail[‘]s entire body was actually made and used for a few scenes, and it can actually breathes [sic] fire. I would definitely want this prop, and I would maybe use it to scare off intruders!

What was your reaction to the news about Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them?

I re-read [sic] my Fantastic Beasts [and] Where [t]o Find Them copy a few times over, so I could understand the references in the movie (and because it is an interesting book), then conversed with many of my Potterhead friends about the upcoming film.
