Fantastic Beasts: Boar Found in China Shopping Mall, Pixies to Blame
On Sunday, a boar was found in a children’s store in a shopping mall in China. The Muggles have been led to believe the boar climbed a ladder into the shop’s back room, punching a hole through the store’s ceiling with its hooves (read the Muggle news report here). However, reports from the wizarding world seem to be laying the blame at the feet of a nearby pixie breeder.
Rubeus Hagrid, of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, chimes in:
If yer gonna breed pixies, yeh best have yer wits about ya. Pixies’re pesky creatures. Never kept ’em me self. But if yer gonna, best keep ’em well away from Muggle habitations. Can’t expect ’em ter resist a joke now an’ again. After all, it’s in their nature.
Chinese Ministry officials released a statement on Monday, assuring the wizarding world that the pixie breeder has lost his license and is serving time helping to modify memories. The pixies have been moved to a highly secure location. Some speculate that the pesky creatures were being bred for the upcoming Fantastic Beast film. I guess we’ll find out when the movie is released.
