Daniel Radcliffe’s “Swiss Army Man” Begins Filming!
We revealed last month that Daniel Radcliffe would be taking on a role in Swiss Army Man, a film that finds a man stranded in the wilderness who then befriends a dead body and takes it on his journey to get home.
Filming began this month on the flick south of San Francisco, near Half Moon Bay. According to the Daily Journal, the production has taken advantage of the film incentives in the area, renting rooms and hiring local vendors for all of their filming needs.
At this time, not much is known about Daniel’s role. IMDb has his role listed only as Cliff, and it is unclear whether Daniel will play the lead or whether he will portray the dead body listed in the synopsis. Either way, we’re pretty excited to see what he does with the role!
Daniel has often taken roles that are far outside of the Potter character he portrayed in the series, so it isn’t surprising that he has joined this project, which could end up being a buddy comedy of sorts. No release date has yet been announced.
In addition, Radcliffe also recently completed a voice-over for the animated series BoJack Horseman and posted a video of himself hard at work via his Google+ account. You can view the video below:
