“Fantastic Beasts” Has Cast Jacob!

Warner Bros. announced today that Dan Fogler (Kung Fu Panda) has been cast to play the still-rumored rival of Newt Scamander, according to Variety and Deadline!

Other actors previously reported to be in line for this role were actors Steve Zissis (Her) and Zack Pearlman (Dreamworks’s Dragons).We know incredibly little about Jacob, other than that he is Newt’s rival. No other information about Jacob has yet been uncovered.

In addition, while Ezra Miller was said to have been in the running for Jacob, it appears that he may still yet be cast. We will continue to keep fans updated as news comes to light.
