Fantastic Beasts: Ministry Officials Seeking Responsible Witches and Wizards
As the drama continues to unfold over the argument of whether or not Muggles should be allowed in the making of the magical-based film series, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, the concern now branches out to Muggle-born witches and wizards.
For those of you who do not know, technology plays a huge role in the everyday lives of Muggles and for that matter, Muggle-born witches and wizards. While it has been confirmed by investigators that no top producers (Muggle or magical) of the Fantastic Beasts films are to blame, it has come to the Ministry’s attention that photos and videos from the set (which include blatant displays of real magical beasts) are being leaked on the Muggle social networking website known as Twitter.
Arthur Weasley, who has been a part of the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office for many years, has been working with other wizarding authorities to determine who is responsible.
“Most likely, Muggle-born witches and wizards who are working on the films, taking pictures with their portable fellytones.” said Mr. Weasley. “Shame, really. We’re already pushing boundaries as it is. This is only fueling the opposition to the films.”
As far as the Ministry can tell, most people seeing these photos and videos believe them to be fake, calling the beasts “animatronics,” whatever those are.
The magical and Muggle worlds continually blend more and more, especially with Muggle-borns being well versed in both magical arts and Muggle technology. As of right now, the Ministry stands firm that every precaution is being taken to protect magical secrecy as much as possible during film production. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if this incident is the final straw that sparks a protest from the magical community.
