Disney launches “A Million Words of Kindness” Campaign with “Cinderella” release

In celebration of the DVD and Bl-ray release of Cinderella, directed by Kenneth Branagh (Gilderoy Lockhart) and starring Helena Bonham-Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange) as the Fairy Godmother, Disney is launching a new campaign celebrating kindness. Deemed “A Million Words of Kindness,” the campaign aims to have fans of the film post a million thoughts of kindness and courage by November 13, World Kindness Day.

To join in the campaign, you can go to www.cinderellakindness.com and leave your thoughts using the hashtags #bekind and #cinderella to be featured on the site’s “Kindness Wall.”

This seems like a beautiful campaign, especially with recent episodes of unkindness on the Internet. Here’s to hoping that this can add some extra joy!
