Theater Owner Max Weitzenhoffer Talks “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child”
It’s been a little while since we heard anything about the upcoming Harry Potter and the Cursed Child play. Of course, the title was announced at the end of June, but since then we’ve been waiting to learn more about it.
In a new interview, Max Weitzenhoffer, who co-owns the Palace Theater in London where Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will be performed, talks about the play and the excitement of getting the call. While he doesn’t say much about the play itself, he does give away some little behind-the-scenes details – such as the fact that the there would be special effects used and that the set will be put in place two months before the show opens. Casting hasn’t started yet either.
However, he did mention that tickets could possibly go on sale on October 19, but that is as yet unconfirmed, so don’t get too excited!
